With the new gains, the coin is currently up around 0.6 percent year to date. The worldwide cryptocurrency market value is now $2.19 trillion, representing a 4.0 percent increase in the previous 24 hours. In the past day, total cryptocurrency trading volume was $98.2 billion, with Bitcoin dominating at 40.6 percent and Ethereum dominating at 18 percent.
